JIM & JOKER MAKE HISTORY!!
2 National Titles in one week and at only 2 years old!
May 1, 2010 was the start of the 17th Annual American Kennel Club's Pointing Breed Gun Dog Championships. There was a Non-Retrieving Championship and a Retrieving Championship. Jim won BOTH of them with German Shorthair Pointer, FC Slick's Cuttin' Wild, "Joker". Joker is only 2 years old. Jim was also Runner Up in the Non-retrieving stake with NAFC/DC Ariel's Justa Gotta Go Now, "Louie", a German Wirehaired Pointer owned by Bernee Brawn of Pennsylvania. Although there had been other handlers and dogs with multiple placements; this is the first time that ONE dog won BOTH stakes in the SAME YEAR!
